There are many kinds of wholesale stores in the neighborhood Asakusabashi and Bakurocho near Akihabara in Tokyo. Above all, the whole neighborhood Asakusabashi to Kuramae, there are some Consumer Fireworks wholesale stores dotted in this area.
Most of these stores sell the fireworks items during summer season, july to september. Other season, a side job, deal in other goods suitable for the each season, like a Japanese dolls or somethings.
Each stores deal in 300 to 700 items of Consumer fireworks. Most of them are made in Japan or imported from China. Any Japanese "toy" fireworks (call it "Gangu-Hanabi") are very high quarity. But little more expensive than made in China.
Some of them are specialty store of fireworks, deal in fireworks through the year.

It's good enough to walk around from Asakusabashi station.
But when you get on the Subway-Toei-Asakusa line at Asakusabashi, and off at the Kuramae station, more near each stores.
